Nagomi is a small, intimate dining bar with just 12 seats. The service bar is tucked into a nook, and the dish room is accessible through a curtained passage.
Chef Kazuyuki Ishikawa and Eli Ramos are the only staff members, so you can easily see them at work. Every night, Chef Ishikawa creates a special Omakase menu that changes according to the season and his mood.
He uses ingredients from all over Japan and Louisiana, so you can be sure to get the freshest flavors possible. Prices are quite affordable, with an omakase course ranging from $65 to $75.

Yo Nashi, a new kid on the block, has made a big impression on the local New Orleans food scene. This omakase spot features an impressive sushi bar where Kyle Payer and chef Mackenzie Broquet make every dish with precision and finesse.
He takes seasonal ingredients from all over Louisiana and Japan to create unique dishes that mix traditional Japanese cooking techniques with local flavors.

Yakuza doesn’t need to be scary for a sushi lover. Yakuza House is a new sushi bar and an omakase spot in Metairie that makes Japanese-style cuisine accessible. They offer an array of tasting menus, from a three-course to a full ten-course meal, so you can customize your experience.
Chef Huy Pham, a Vietnam-American chef who loves Japanese cuisine, has created a menu full of exciting dishes like Shima Aji, Ora King Salmon, Kanpachi, Hotate, etc.
