Vero Takis Fuego: 7 Things You Need to Know

When I was young, I used to be afraid of spicy food. I would watch my friends and family members take bites of dishes that looked like they were on fire, and I couldnโt understand why they would do such a thing. I was content with my mild chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese. But then one day, I decided to give spice a try. I took a tiny bite of my momโs Somtum(Papaya Salad), and at first, it didnโt seem so bad. But then the heat hit me, and I started to sweat.
My eyes watered, and my nose ran. It was an intense experience, but for some reason, I wanted more. From then on, I began to experiment with different spices and hot sauces. And now, I canโt get enough of the fiery flavors.
Whether itโs a dish from my home country of Thailand or a simple bowl of chili, I love food that packs a punch. So if youโre ever feeling brave, donโt be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new โ you might just surprise yourself.
Here are where I write to share my experience with spicy foods with you.
